The Emirate of Dubai is the 2nd largest United Arab Emirates of the Persian Gulf in the northeast and shares border with other Emirati states like Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia etc. In the southeast, it shares boundary with the sultanate of Oman. Weather:

Health and Safety:

Nightlife of Dubai:

The one attraction of Dubai is its nightlife scene with a large choice of bars and nightclubs to be enjoyed. Dubai also has some interesting laws when it comes nightclubs such as 21 is the minimum age to purchase alcohol and some club do not allow entry under 25.

January - February:
Dubai Marathon:
It is a charitable funding event in which one can take part for a small fee with the sign of winning a hefty cash prize.
Dubai Shopping Festival:
The one month long shopping festival is organized in which 2 million visitors are participated. It is good for bargain hunters.
February - March:
Dubai Desert Classic:
This is most popular golfing event in the UAE is organized in which competition is held at the famous Emirates Golf Club.
Dubai International Jazz Festival:
This festival is planned at Dubai Media City which appeals a big amount of tourists who enjoys the engaging line ups.
Dubai Tennis Championship:
This is one of the most exciting event that brings together some of the best tennis players in the world, including Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova held at the aviation club.
March - April:
UAE (Abu Dhabi) Desert Challenge:
This rally is a part of FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup. This is very popular with fans of cars and bikes.
Dubai Art Fair:
This event had been organized since 2007 at The Madinat Jameirah which does well to lure some of the best artists from around the world to flaunt their work.
Dubai World Cup:
Every year Dubai is held the world richest horse race with a hefty cash prize of US$10 million.

The show features a variety of events centred on the theme of wedding. The event appeals hundreds of exhibitors from all over the world.
Festival of Taste:

This is planned to attract tourists to visit at the peak of Dubai’s heat waves. This is divided into separate themes such as food, the art, adventure and nature and hotel in Dubai as well.

National Day Festival:
This is Independence Day of Emirates from Great Britain which is celebrated at 2nd December each year.

This film festival is organized to encourage independent and art-house to cinema

Do and don’t:

v  Do go on the camel safari in the desert.

v  Do visit the Burj Dubai and Burj Khalifa.

v  Don’t make late night walks.

v  Don’t carry a lot of cash.

v  Ask permission before photographing people in general. Especially avoid photographing Muslim women.
