4 Best Attractions in Melbourne

Melbourne is one of the happening cities and the capital of Victoria. Melbourne has been attracting tourists locally and internationally because of international events, varied global cuisine and culture. I chose to go to Melbourne for a vacation because of the cheap flights to Melbourne. I realised that the city has a European influence and is also birth place of Australian Football which is part of their life. It is blessed with awesome restaurants, bars and trendiest neighbourhoods but does not have beaches or a harbour like Sydney.

Fascinating Attractions not to miss

I noticed many local tourists because of the cheap flights to Melbourne. My favourite must visit places here are

Melbourne Zoo:-
It attracts many travellers because it shelters Kangaroos, koalas, wombats, Penguins and Australian fur seals. This zoo is the oldest in the country and i would advise to spend 4-5 hours by packing a picnic and spending time there.

Philip Island:-
It is in driving range from Melbourne and is known for its Penguins alone. Here one can witness a special scene called the Penguin Parade where hundreds of penguins cross into the shore every night. The island also has a koala conservation centre and is a heaven for kids to have a great time.

The Melbourne Cricket ground:-
It is a must visit for all cricket lovers and is home to the Aussie rules football game which was started in the beginning for the purpose of keeping the men physically strong and fit.

Hot air ballooning tops:-
If u can spare some extra money which would give u a bird’s eye view of the city and it is breathtaking. Balloon flight took us in the morning, when the weather is calm and it showed us the best aerial view of all major attractions in the city which glows with the sun rising over it.
